Patience

The word patience in the center of a light green blob.

Patience: The capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.

Patience is an important skill that’s developed over time. In some cases, it is about being patient with others, and in other cases it is about being patient with one’s own self, allowing time to learn. Patience can be exercised when children are collaborating with one another, when a child encounters a challenge like a new block on ScratchJr or difficulty scanning with KIBO, or in anticipation of an upcoming event, like a Project Showcase.
