During my time at BC, I have met many kinds of people coming from different walks of life. Growing up in New York City, I have always been surrounded by diversity but coming to Boston College only expanded this. I have always been exposed to so many different cultures, but being in such proximity to (and practically living with) so much difference at BC only taught me more about myself in ways that I would not have otherwise in New York City. What I would bring with me in my stage of life is a plane ticket. This empty plane ticket is meant to represent the different places I can go and the various people I will continue to meet. I believe traveling is one of the highest forms of learning and growth. You can not grow in an environment that you are used to. I brought myself out of my comfort zone by coming to BC and I plan to continue living the rest of my life this way.
