Current Research:

Mechanistic studies of Iron catalyzed cross coupling reactions including Suzuki-Miyaura and Kumada type couplings.

Biography:

Michael was born on a military base but grew up in Miami, Oklahoma. During his undergaduate program at the University of Tulsa, Michael studied the production of novel materials from industrial waste. Michael is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa fraternity. His hobbies include racquetball, videogames, trivia, and learning languages.
