Jesuit Community
One of the great things about my pilgrimage was that I got to experience a different culture. I went to visit New Mexico in the indigenous people known as the Navajo. I was struck by the Spirituality and deep trust in a higher power that these people had in their lives. Some of them were Catholic but a majority of them respected the earth. They had a great connection to their ancestors and I learned from them the value of trusting in God. On my pilgrimage, I learned that God took care of me at each step of the way in the same way that God takes care of the Navajo in their daily lives.
