Pilgrimage Course
The Camino course was the most satisfying and fulfilling teaching experience of my career. Walking opens the heart and the mind, and has allowed me to get close to the students, to share in their joys and suffering, and to accompany them intellectually and spiritually as never before. Every day brings new experiences, few of which are within one’s control. It is the shared experience of surrender, of return to basics and the simple joys of life, of mutual support through hardship and pain that creates a unique bond. This is a group of students whose names and personalities I will never forget.
