We’re open! Let’s do some dog science!

Are you ready to do some dog science?

The Boston College Canine Cognition Center is very excited to reopen spots for initial visits and studies. Check your SONA account to see if you’re eligible!

If studies aren’t showing up, it could be possible that your vet records are not up-to-date. We currently only require that dogs be vaccinated against rabies to enter the lab. To check if your vet records are current, follow these steps.

  1. Log into your SONA account. If you have difficulty remembering your username, you can find it at the bottom of previous emails from the BC Dog Lab.
  2. Click “points overview.” It will be on the right-hand side of your screen. A box will have a number reflecting the number of studies you have participated in.
  3. Scroll to “Vet Records Upload.” Under the “status” column, if your vet records are current, it will say, “1 Points granted on MM/DD/YYYY.” If they are outdated, it will say “Failure to appear – excused.”
  4. Upload a new pdf of your vet records via this Google Form. tinyurl.com/BCCCvetrecords
  5. We will email you once we have updated your account!

We can’t wait to have you come to the lab! Now let’s do some research!
