Teacher Excerpts on Practicing Curiosity

The following excerpts were taken from interviews with teachers who were asked to describe instances in which their preschoolers practiced curiosity, as well as times in which the teacher personally practiced curiosity while implementing the Coding as Another Language-KIBO curriculum.

Curiosity for yourself in what you’re learning, and not only what you’re learning, but are you able to teach the children so that they gain the understanding. It’s part of the curiosity and the perseverance—looking into what you’re doing and pushing through to understand that it’s not about what you think, but being open to trying something new.
