The Irish Influence
Joseph Nugent and the Boston College Ireland Academic Director, Michael Cronin, Nugent launched “The Irish Influence,” a weekly webinar series featuring major and rising figures in Irish domains of literature, culture, politics, and more.
To name a few, the guests on “The Irish Influence” have included Fearghal McGarry, Mark O’Connell, Paul Murray, Lenny Abrahamson, Kevin Barry, and Claire Kilroy.
Conferences and Talks
Joseph Nugent has organized a variety of conferences, events and colloquia, including:

- Joyce and Journalism
- The VIth International Flann O’Brien Conference.
Joseph Nugent has also given talks at a multitude of such events, including a talk on Dubliners for the Psychoanalytic Book Club of The Northern Ireland Institute of Human Relations.

Jewels of Ireland
Joseph Nugent contributed to Jewels of Ireland: The Irish Arts and Crafts Movement, which plays into a broader, digital humanities exhibition held at the McMullen Museum of Art, Boston College in Spring 2016.
