Compañía Pilgrimage
When I reflect on the Compañía pilgrimage with Boston College faculty and staff, I keep coming back to the people. Walking in the footsteps of St. Ignatius, to see the places he saw, it was a memorable and life-changing experience. When I reflect back on those places and things, what comes to my thoughts are the people and the conversations shared along the way. Seeing Pope Francis just feet away was incredible, but not nearly as significant as the people who shared that experience with me. This pilgrimage took place during a difficult time for me, and yet, through many phases of my life, there are difficulties. The people who shared their knowledge, shared their experiences, shared their reflections through the paths we walked were the life-changing experience for me.
