01.01.2011 New group meeting schedule is launched. Group meetings take place every Friday, 2:30 p.m. in Merkert 124 Heterogeneous catalysis subgroup meetings take place every Monday afternoon (3:30 PM) in Merkert 212. Energy subgroup meetings take place every Friday morning (10:00 AM) in my office Merkert 224.
12.16.2010 Welcome! Brian, Yang, Momo, and Baichuan joined our group as graduate students.
10.25.2010 Group Meeting Our group meetings take place every Friday, 4 p.m. in Merkert 124. Our nanocrystal catalysis sub-group meetings take place every Monday afternoon, 3:30 p.m. Anyone is welcome to join our group meeting to experience our dynamic researches.
09.01.2010 New member joined our group. Dr. Chun-Hong Kuo joined our group as a postdoctoral fellow.
06.19.2010 New members will join our group. Melissa Fardy and Dr. Chun-Hong Kuo will join our group as postdoctoral fellows.
05.23.2010 Postdoc positions are available now.     We are looking for talented and enthusiastic postdocs with a background in nanomaterials catalysis to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of the positions is to design novel catalysis measurement systems, and to develop new wet-chemistry synthetic strategies of nanomaterials for catalytic applications. The requirements include:       ▪ Extensive hands-on experience in setting up GC-MS micro-reactor systems and measuring catalytic properties     ▪ Good skill in synthesizing and characterizing metal and metal oxide nanostructures
    ▪ Basic knowledge of solid state physics and measurement of electro-chemistry/-catalysis properties

For full consideration, please send letter of application, including a brief statement of research interests, C.V./resume, and the contact information for three references to Chia-Kuang (Frank) Tsung (frank.tsungbc.edu).         Applications will be reviewed upon receipt, and will be evaluated on a rolling basis until the positions are filled.
05.06.2010 Graduate and undergraduate students with energy and enthusiasm are gladly welcome.     Our group is beginning in August. All graduate and undergraduate students with energy and enthusiasm are gladly welcome to join our young team.
05.05.2010 The website of our research is up.
