Welcome

Our research program lies at the interface between chemistry, nanotechnology, and materials science. The goal of our research program is to develop high performance catalysts. We focus on photocatalytic materials for solar-to-chemical energy conversions and heterogeneous catalysts for energy-conversion reactions in order to solve the current energy crisis. We primarily utilize wet-chemistry synthesis and vapor-phase deposition strategies to precisely control the materials at the nanoscale for optimizing the catalytic performances.

The interdisciplinary projects of our program aim at both fundamental understanding and practical applications. Students of backgrounds in physics, chemistry, and/or materials science are welcome to join our dynamic group at BC. Our group meetings take place every Friday, 2 p.m. in Merkert 124. All of you are welcome to join our group meeting to experience our dynamic researches.
