As communicated by ITS on November 6th, BC is changing its retention policy for lecture capture due to changes in Panopto’s licensing model. On January 10th, 2024 all unneeded Panopto Lecture Capture classroom recordings that occurred before December 25, 2022 will be deleted. This does NOT impact Zoom recordings or Personal Capture recordings. Information about an ongoing retention policy will be shared soon.
Follow these steps to retain any lecture capture recordings from before December 25, 2022 by moving them from a course folder to a personal folder.
