In this week’s waste tracking image, I took a picture from my family’s house again. The main things I see are playa bowl containers and small paper and cardboard items. My household consists of five women, and I feel that we use a lot of paper towels when being in the kitchen. I think many items are dirty and probably unable to be recycled. The use of paper makes me think that there could be alternatives such as using cloths or other micro fabric items to use in the kitchen and to clean up small spaces. Overall, I feel there is less trash for this weekend and ultimately it varies, depending on who stays in the house and on what activities we decide to do as a family.
