Description of Data Collection:

This program was launched in the Fall of 2020, and thus is just starting its second year. Learning outcomes will be assessed through faculty evaluation of student performance in graduate courses, on a comprehensive examination, and through information on the annual exit survey of all graduating students.

Review Process:

Comprehensive exams will be distributed across all faculty, who share in the process of evaluating student performance on the exam. In addition, the Master’s Advisory Committee (MAC), which comprises six full-time faculty and the Director of the Practicum Office, reviews student performance on these exams and their satisfaction with the program overall. Exit survey results are reviewed during faculty meetings with all department faculty.
