Review Process:

Student client evaluations are analyzed at the end of each semester and end of the year by OHP staff and graduate students.

Resulting Program Changes:

Overall the wellness coaching conversation enabled students to reflect on their health and the choices they make by developing goals and strategies for improving their health.
The results from this evaluation led to changes including consolidating all three specialty areas and downsizing the Wellness Coach group from 80 to 25 so coaches can be trained more holistically/gain knowledge about all areas of health and so they will have more opportunities for high quality coaching. The curriculum has also been updated to incorporate DEI into health messaging and aims to recruit a more diverse group of coaches and participants. Developed follow up appointments and protocol so student clients can come back for another appointment to review goals, be held accountable, and measure behavior change over time. Online evaluations will continue to be conducted following appointments and we will do a formal assessment project this year with individual client interviews to demonstrate moving to a smaller group of coaches with more follow up appointments impacted their goal attainment and experience.
