Resulting Program Changes:

The content and format of the presentation gets altered each year to better meet the needs and changing behavior of students. As student culture changes, the presentation changes to address specific issues. For example, as social media continues to be a preferred method of advertising a party, our presentation has changed to address the challenges that come with using specific social media platforms to invite guests. Additionally, as laws or BC policies change, the presenting itself also changes to match those new regulations. The Friday Night Heights program receives very high reviews from students each year. However, the effectiveness of the program can also be measured in student behavioral changes. Students who participate in the workshop have low conduct recidivism rates. The workshop has been running for about 15 years and the annual changes to the workshop keep the content relevant and student learning high, as indicated by student evaluations.
