Description of Data Collection:

End of semester focus group was conducted on May 3, 2021 to determine whether or not participants have achieved the stated outcomes.


Review Process:

The Graduate Assistant(s) working with AMLP will issue end of semester surveys/questionnaires and collect responses. These surveys will be issued in December and May of each academic year. BC Staff/Faculty working with AMLP will assist in interpreting and analyzing the data.


Resulting Program Changes:

As a result of the last survey the changes included: 1) Moving from meeting virtually to in-person meetings; 2) Moving meetings from bi-weekly on Mondays 5-6 pm to bi-weekly on Wednesdays from 6-7 pm; 3) Having the student-leaders take on more leadership roles in running the bi-weekly meetings; 4) Having the graduate students and student-leaders plan the Men of Color Conference and AMLP Retreat. All of the aforementioned leadership roles are designed to encourage more student participation and opportunities to demonstrate leadership. Based on the aforementioned changes student participation has notably increased in bi-weekly meetings. Participation has doubled from 10 to 20 participants.
