Together, with student co-creators and student peer mentors, this leadership team and its partners bring the right mix of technical expertise, educational design, spiritual and formative leadership, and student engagement experience to make the Spiritual Hackathon a distinctive and mission-aligned senior-year initiative.

Project Leader: Prof. Marina Bers
Dept of Formative Education at the Lynch School, Director of DevTech Research Group. She is widely recognized for her work on integrating character education with making literacies such as coding, robotics and engineering. She brings extensive experience in the development, implementation, and scaling of technologically-rich projects.

Co-Leader: Prof. Belle Liang
Counseling, Developmental, and Educational Psychology; inaugural Ascione Fellow and Faculty Fellow in University Mission and Ministry. She is an expert in formative education and purpose research in higher education and brings a strong background in research methods and evaluation through her leadership role in University Missions and Ministry.

Co-Leader: Dr. Daniel Joslyn-Siemiatkoski
Professor; Kraft Family Chair, Director, Center for Christian-Jewish Learning; has overseen the spiritual formation of students as a seminary dean and is experienced in developing inter-religious and cross-disciplinary academic initiatives. Interests – History of Jewish-Christian Relations, Christian-Jewish and Comparative Theology, Anti-Judaism and Race
