“In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities, but in the expert’s mind there are few.”

We take pride in being an undergraduate-driven lab at Boston College.
Lab Diversity Statement
We are committed to fostering an inclusive and positive lab environment. Therefore, we are dedicated to learning from and raising all voices in the lab, and supporting all aspiring scientists regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
Interested in joining the lab?
New students have the opportunity to join the lab as Research Assistants (RAs) at the start of each semester. Most students join the lab at the beginning of the fall, but we do bring some students into the lab at the beginning of each spring. Students may participate in the lab for course credit through either PSYC 2205, PSYC 2206, or as a senior thesis student. Registration for these courses does not need to occur during normal registration – they can be added any time before the end of add-drop each semester. Because space in the lab is limited, I strongly encourage you to register for a full course load during registration and then drop a class (or overload) if you do end up joining the lab and taking one of the classes listed above.
Any motivated and interested undergraduate student may complete the form below to apply. Applications are reviewed in April and November. Interested students should expect to hear back about their applications after these reviews have been conducted.
