Amsler&#8217;s research vividly demonstrates the &#8220;networks of religious sociability and ritual communities among women as well as women&#8217;s remarkable acts of private piety&#8221; in seventeenth-century China.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The titles of the chapters appear below.
