Former Research:

Exploring the role of oxidation states and overall charges in bisimino pyridine iron complexes on the controlled polymerization of lactides and epoxides.

Biography:

Stella was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from University of Campinas in 2009, and her Master’s degree in 2012 from the same university. In 2017 she obtained her PhD from University of Florida, under the guidance of Professor Adam S. Veige. Her previous work involved the synthesis and characterization of tungsten alkylidynes, and their application on the activation of small molecules and on the synthesis of cyclic polymers.
