Chet Tyrol

Boston College
Graduate Student
Advisor: Prof. Jeffery A. Byers

Eckerd College
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry

Current Research:

Investigation of iron-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura cross couplings.

Chet was born in Nepal and now lives in Vermont. He went to school at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he majored in Chemistry. During that period, Chet did organometallic research in the lab of Dr. Chris Schnabel where he synthesized novel cerium(IV) aryloxides as enantioselective oxidizing agents.
