Decentralizing Drone Regulations in Low-Altitude Airspace

Nonetheless, with the rise of commercial drones over the past decade, the FAA has extended its near exclusive authority over aircraft in navigable airspace, generally airspace above 500 feet, to low-altitude airspace.
