The candidate will assist with all logistical aspects of the projects and make independent decisions. In addition, the candidate will supervise a team of undergraduate students, lead research collection and analysis, interface with partner organizations, manage the project budget, document the events and support Prof. Bers as needed regarding a variety of tasks related to the project such as the production of documents, website, grant reports, and proposals. The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in research opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The candidate needs to make independent decisions without supervisory approval as well as set priorities, and problem solve independently by using creative thinking and good judgment. Knowledge of or experience with making-type of activities, new technologies and spiritual practices is preferred. The candidate needs to be able to work well on a team, have excellent communication skills both face to face and on-line, be very detailed oriented, well-organized and analytical in their approach, independently problem solve in creative ways, have excellent writing skills and take initiative.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The opportunity is for 20 hours a week and the pay is according to BC\u2019s standard rate for MA or doctoral students.
